Fatal crash in Frazee leads to driver's arrest

FRAZEE, Minn. — A driver struck a parked vehicle here, fatally injuring a 50-year-old Ponsford man.

The driver, 39-year-old Richard Henry Fisette of Perham, was arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation, according to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office.

Marlin Roger Miller, 50, of Ponsford was inside the parked vehicle when Fisette's vehicle hit it about 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, the sheriff's office said. Officers responded to a report of a person trapped in the parked vehicle.

Miller was taken to a Detroit Lakes hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Fisette was being held Monday evening at the Becker County Jail. The crash remains under investigation.
