April is National Poetry Month and in appreciation, poet Dustin Mohagen of Fargo, reads from his chapbook "Wild Time."
Mohagen said poetry is sacred and it makes him think of the Bible because of the line, 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God.'
"You have this equation between, word and God," Mohagen said. "It's solitude yet you can still feel at one with the human race and I think that's where a lot of its power lies. Connecting people though time and space, the written word, the published word, is where the magic is." National Poetry Month started in 1996 and is the largest literary celebration in the world. Its aim is to increase awareness and appreciation of poetry.
