Two arrested after three missing Tennessee children were found safe in central Minnesota

CASS COUNTY, Minn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has called off an Endangered Child Alert for three missing children after they were found safe in Cass County, Minn.

According to the TBI, 6-year-old Analia Essex, 2-year-old Abigail Christian and 1-year-old Michale Christian were found Friday morning, July 12.

The children were found with their noncustodial parents, Amanda Essex, 25, and Michale Darrel Christian, 48, both of Spencer, Tenn The pair are not legally allowed to have children and are currently in custody at the Crow Wing County jail awaiting extradition to Tennessee, according to the TBI.

On Tuesday, July 9, the TBI reported the three children as missing under suspicious circumstances.
