Senior Spotlight: Get to know Bison defensive end Jarrod Tuszka
Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be?
A: Breath under water, for sure. If I could have a super power, that's what it would be. I scuba dive a lot. So I just love it. It's a totally different world under there.
Q: What is the most embarrassing song on your phone or iPod?
A: Boy, that's a good one ... it would probably be "Fireflies" by Owl City. That's an oldie.
Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?
A: I see myself probably still around Fargo. I would like to move up north towards Alaska eventually. I think it will probably be around here until my brother is done playing football anyways in two years. If jobs are good and I'm keeping busy, I will probably stick around here.
Q: Who is your hero?
A: My hero is Michael Hardie. He played with me a couple of years ago. He's from Sioux Falls, S.D. Great guy. Really helped me along with a lot stuff up here. Just a great dude. Really great friends.
Q: What is one thing people don't know about you?
A: It's tough for me to be serious. I love joking around. I don't think I will ever grow up. Being a fifth senior and stuff, I supposedly am one of the mature ones. I love to have fun.
Q: What does being a Bison mean to you?
A: It means so much. It's the greatest decision I ever made. When I came in, Coach Bohl (former Bison head coach Craig Bohl) said to me ... and it still sticks to me ... 'In your lifetime, you have to choose two things by yourself where no one else will conflict with your decision. You get to pick your wife and you get to pick your college. Those are two decisions that reflect on you the most.' It's the best decision I ever made. Just being part of the program, it's second to none.
