Before getting to St. Cloud State, Bobby Goepfert played two seasons for Providence College. Before that, he spent two seasons as the starting goalie for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the United States Hockey League. Goepfert was the 2002 USHL Goaltender of the Year and Player of the Year.
